Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pharmacist - Renal Disease based at University Hospital Crosshouse . This post is offered on a permanent .

Hours:
36.00 hours per week.
In accordance with AFC terms and conditions you may be required to work over 7 days and/or an extended working day.
You will be required to participate in departmental rotas including weekends and extended hours.
Job share will be considered for this post.
UK Driving Licence:
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What you will do:
You will join our well-established renal pharmacy team to provide pharmaceutical care to renal patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The team provide clinical pharmacy services to renal inpatients, including renal high-dependency patients; patients attending the renal dialysis units and outpatients. You will work as an independent prescriber within this specialty managing your own caseload of patients in areas such as anaemia and polycystic kidney disease.
A clinical pharmacy service is provided to patients attending the renal unit at University Hospital Ayr and so travel within acute sites within NHS Ayrshire & Arran will be required.

You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Applicants should be working towards credentialing against the RCP Core Advanced Curriculum or provide demonstrable evidence of clinical knowledge equivalent to that level.
