Group Financial Accountant
Our client is ahigh growth, PE-backed Groupthat is looking to recruit a Group Financial Accountantinto their Group Finance team.
This is a pivotal role, working closely with senior finance leadership and key stakeholders across the business. You’ll play an integral part in enhancing financial reporting, strengthening controls, and supporting ongoing growth, including M&A activity.
The Role
- Ownership of monthly group reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow) with insightful analysis.
- Delivery of robust balance sheet reconciliations and controls.
- Supporting statutory accounts preparation (FRS102) and audit processes.
- Involvement in tax reporting and compliance.
- Business partnering with subsidiaries to enhance financial controls.
- Supporting due diligence on acquisitions and investments.
- Playing a key role in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
The Candidate
- ACA newly or recently qualified from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.
- Strong technical accounting capability.
- High attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
- Confident communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Team player with the ability to take ownership and deliver.
