Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a professional culinary environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in their daily tasks. The role is suitable for individuals with an interest in food preparation and hospitality, eager to develop their skills within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Clean down kitchen at end of service in line with health & safety standards.
- Support kitchen team in maintaining a clean and organised workspace throughout service.
