Senior Planner

We're looking for a Senior Planner for a public sector organisation based in Berkshire on an initial 18 months contract, paying up to £68 per hour (Inside IR35).

This is a full-time onsite role, with the possibility of condensing hours into a 4-day week.

The successful Senior Planner will own and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule across supported projects, producing accurate, timely schedule forecasts to drive business decisions. You'll lead planning and Earned Value deliverables in line with the business rhythm, run network and critical path analysis, and champion planning best practice. You'll also support continuous improvement of planning processes, tools and templates, and work closely with project managers, engineers and scientists.

You will need proven experience in the following:

Senior planning on large, complex programmes
Primavera / P6
Earned Value Management (EVM), including SPI variance analysis
Critical path and network analysis
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication with technical teams

A background in a large corporate environment such as rail or aerospace would be beneficial.

You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain DV clearance. This role is open to sole UK nationals only.
