Administrative Officer
£28.6k - £31.54k per annumThis is an opportunity to join us in making a significant difference to the students at St Wilfrid’s. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to lead our main school office administration team and ensure the smooth operation of day‑to‑day school functions. If successful, you will deliver a responsive and adaptable administrative support service across the school, supervising office staff and maintaining efficient procedures to meet operational needs.
Key aspects of the role include managing facility hire processes using the school’s designated booking software, coordinating the maintenance and distribution of school and BKCAT policies, and administering all stages of Educational Visits under the direction of the Business Operations Manager. You will also design and produce a range of school publications, such as posters, booklets, and leaflets, to support school events and departmental requirements.
St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently over 1,400 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also inspected by the Catholic Inspection Service (Sec 48) in April 2024, with 7 out of 9 areas graded Outstanding.
