The Headteacher of this highly successful and oversubscribed school is looking to appoint a new Teacher of Biology to join their Biology department. Biology is an extremely popular and thriving subject in the school with excellent outcomes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of Biology looking to progress in a highly skilled supportive environment. This role would suit an aspirational Teacher of Biology looking for a role in middle leadership and/or is the perfect role for a candidate might be looking to develop further.

The successful Teacher of Biology will be both ambitious and committed to the teaching of Biology. They will bring enthusiasm, dedication and ideas to the department and a desire to promote success, whilst instilling in their students a passion for the subject.
School Information
The school is an 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive serving Biology and the surrounding community. It is highly regarded in the local area and recognised as a friendly and welcoming school with high academic standards. The school has a very positive learning culture, and their Ofsted report (2020) graded the school as Ofsted rated ‘Good’.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Biology or similar
- QTS or PGCE
Salary
The salary for this Teacher of Biology position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
