Outlet Van Driver (Multi-drop collection & Delivery) - Leeds, West Yorkshire
As an Outlet Van Driver, youll play a key role in supporting our Greggs pledge commitments by ensuring surplus product is collected from our shops and supply sites and redistributed, where possible, to one or more of our community-based outlet shops. Youll need to be able to work on your own, using your own initiative andhave a passion for quality and the ability to follow all the correct processes and procedures to ensure our customers are satisfied.
Main Responsibilities
You will work mostly unsupervised out on the road, but your role will involve working as part of the transport team reporting in to a supply site, with regular updates either at site or via Teams/Phone updates with your line manager.
You will be responsible for local deliveries and collections in the Leeds area, dealing with food, carrying out quality and temperature checks on the products and working in line with food safety and health and safety standards.
You may also be expected to work in a chilled environment. You will be responsible for ensuring your vehicle is legally compliant and safe, whilst maintaining a fuel-efficient standard of driving.

Ideal Candidate
You have a full, valid driving licence (vocational HGV licence not required)
Youre comfortable with handling food
You have pride in the quality of the products you will be providing customers
Youre experienced in following processes and procedures and working in a fast-paced environment where timescales and targets are important
Youre comfortable with driving for long periods of time, lifting and carrying, as well as other tasks such as cleaning
You are confident working alone during unsociable hours
