Location: Newcastle (Newcastle will be your contractual base location; however, this role requires full-time on-site attendance in Middlesbrough)

Salary: from £47,271 (DOE)

Job Description:

As a key member of our team based full time on site in Middlesborough, you will play a pivotal role in managing , developing, and optimising our supplier base to ensure the effective delivery of strategic manufacturing components and Jigs products that directly support programme objectives . In addition to your technical and commercial responsibilities, you will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, offering guidance, coaching, and support to colleagues across the wider team.

Core duties:

• Leading a small onsite team and scopes of work – fabrication/welding and machining activities from a Quality perspective
• Managing the supplier on Quality deliverables
• Reporting into the Senior Quality Manager
• Managing non-conformances and Quality reports
• Visiting and managing the supplier on the Submarine tier work activities

Essential Skills:

• CSWIP 3:1 qualified
• Internal Audit qualification
• Experience of Quality documentation (e.g. ITPs & MRBs)
• Quality project experience
• Proven experience in line management , mentoring, and developing team members
