Our Pharmacy Department operate 24/7, so although this role is expected to be predominantly Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, there will be a requirement to flex outside of these core hours for oversight of processes. - Act as a named Head of Production (MS, MIA(IMP)), ensuring compliance with MHRA and Home Office regulations.
- Provide strategic leadership for manufacturing services, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
- Lead the delivery of a high-quality unit dose production service.
- Lead Production responsibilities within the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Hold delegated responsibility for production budgets and resources.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Pharmaceutical Science, Technology, or Quality Assurance (Essential)
- Significant experience in GMP-Compliant Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Essential)
- Named Head of Production experience on an MHRA licence (Essential)
- Quality Improvement or training qualification (Essential)
- GPhC Registration as Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist (Desirable)
- Accredited Product Approver / releasing officer status (Desirable)
