Overview of the role
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Grangeway Court in Runcorn.
This community pharmacy is commutable from surrounding villages/towns/cities and is located in a residential area. It has a good relationship with the local GP surgeries/health centres.
- Salary - Up to £28 per hour
- Contract Type - Permanent, Full Time
- No. Hours per week - 45.75
How our pharmacy makes a difference:
- It dispenses 1800 items a week,
- It provides a wide range of services including blood pressure, pharmacy first, nms, weight management, contraception, covid, flu vaccines and a range of private services.
- It dispenses 100 community blisters mostly dispensed from the central hub.
This pharmacy is open Monday - Friday 9am-6pm and 9am-12.30pm Saturdays.
The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 4 pharmacy assistants.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.
You'll be focused on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.
You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.
We are focused on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
