The role will require the post holder to undertake the role of Authorised Person (AP) as defined within Health Technical Memorandum (HTM) 00 for multiple engineer services. The responsibility will provide the post holder with key operational responsibilities for ensuring that appropriate engineering services are maintained to current statutory, mandatory and best practice requirements. The role will also require the individual to have substantial management skills and experience to ensure that external contractors and directly employed labour are managed in the most efficient manner. Furthermore, the role will also require the participation in the current CFS shift pattern/system, current on-call rota and undertake overtime when the service needs dictate for which appropriate payments will be made.
