Our company is looking for a QA Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure departmental sickness, holidays and absence of employees;
  • Staff training;
  • Daily operations check;
  • Collaborate with agile teams and management on the improvement of test efficiency and reduction of release testing cycle time;
  • Understand the importance of cross functional working in the quest for technical compliance;
  • Helping project teams achieve their quality goals;
  • Creating test plan and report plan templates;
  • Identification of non-compliance issues; and;
  • Leading, line managing and mentoring members of the QA department;
  • Identification of areas of risk;
  • Supporting the Technical team with internal and 3rd party audits;
  • Deliver projects to create business effectiveness and a continuous improvement culture across the department;
  • Assist the QA Director with multiple functions;
  • Representing the QA department to external stakeholders;
  • Sponsors and Regulatory Inspectors audit participation.

Requirements:

  • Competent in MS Office suite;
  • Review and approve Batch Records;
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and work cross-functionally to identify issues and implement solutions and improvements;
  • Minimum Degree in Science (BSc or equivalent);
  • Part of the Quality Leadership team;
  • Can demonstrate a minimum 5 years experience in implementing and maintaining SHE and QA systems in a manufacturing environment;
  • Review and/or approve Quality Events, CAPAs, change control in an efficient manner to ensure adequate and timely closeout of these;
  • Understand the importance of cross functional working in the quest for technical compliance;
  • Outstanding test management experience and proven delivery track record of change / transformation;
  • Ideally Educated to degree level (BSc or BEng) or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or a related discipline;
  • Experience of one or more Agile frameworks, ideally Kanban or Scrum;
  • Deliver projects to create business effectiveness and a continuous improvement culture across the department;
  • Supporting the Technical team with internal and 3rd party audits;
  • BSc in Life Sciences;
  • A basic working knowledge of SQL Server.
