Junior IT Support Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Junior IT Support Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for all support of hardware and software problems;
- End to end resolution of desktop support problems;
- Ensure logging, tracking and updating of service management system via ITIL based processes;
- Monitoring open calls, ensuring resolutions and appropriate updates are carried out;
- Logging of incidents, requests and problems;
- Initial response and diagnosis of hardware issues.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge Microsoft Office 2010 or above (ideally 365);
- Good experience of working with Windows 10;
- Excellent team player, positive and collaborative;
- Knowledge of ITIL framework;
- Strong professional ethic;
- Able to articulate technical issues in terms of business risk and opportunity;
- Any knowledge of the following would be useful; Mac/iPad, Mobile Devices, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint;
- Pragmatic problem solver;
- Able to assimilate information and to disseminate effectively to colleagues;
- Self-motivated, proactive, work on own initiative with a best practice approach;
- MS Exchange and Active Directory experience.
