Our company is looking for a business development consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Additional duties as required to meet the needs of the business;
- Negotiation of rates and contracts;
- Keeping up to date with developments relevant to the post;
- Account management – Develop and maintain strong relationships and consistent communication with client(s) assigned to you;
- Client meetings;
- Place outbound phone calls (cold calling) to set appointments to initiate the sales process on behalf of our clients;
- Build a successful Construction recruitment division working with senior management to achieve;
- You must be able to listen and understand your customer through offering the right technical and business advice;
- Generate new business sales opportunities;
- Through following up on leads you will be generating outbound calls and working business to business;
- Establishing a bank of employers with employment opportunities for learners;
- The role will have a strong focus on targeting Tier 2 Banks and Buy-Side, Insurance and Energy firms with our Managed Service and Technology Solutions;
- Work to achieve daily, weekly and monthly goals through execution of lead generation activities;
- Participating in performance management procedures and undertaking staff training;
- Maintaining and building on relationships with existing customers, and making any call warm through excellent rapport building.
Requirements:
- Experience within a sales role including cold calling, lead generation and working to targets;
- Candidates must be target driven and proactive towards their work;
- Candidates must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively by means of presentations and reports;
- Ability to prioritise workloads and maintain high standards that will sit alongside the Client’s short and long term goals;
- Able to get buy-in from internal/external stakeholders;
- Honesty, integrity and excellent relationship management;
- IT proficient;
- A self-starter – able to act on own initiative with drive and determination;
- Full UK driving licence;
- Confidence in own ability;
- Presentation and negotiation skills;
- Experience selling in a sales-driven environment;
- Ability to speak to clients face to face;
- Ability to quickly learn new processes;
- Outstanding communication and networking skills.
