Python/Django Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Python/Django Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Help us to maintain and develop a GraphQL API that currently services 400 million requests a day;
- Familiar with CI concepts and common workflow (we use Github and Codeship/CircleCI);
- Understand, debug and optimise queries across the stack. Can you sanity check the SQL that the ORM emits? Can you debug a slow query?
- Maintain very high test coverage by writing Django unit tests and end-to-end tests with Selenium.
Requirements:
- An independent worker, comfortable both working alone and as part of a team of in-house developers;
- Agile/Scrum experience;
- Passionate about solving complex, challenging and interesting business problems;
- You should have solid professional experience with Python and Django, with a thorough approach to testing.
