Our company is looking for a semh lsa to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Working with other TAs and support staff;
- Developing a relationship with the students and their caregivers;
- Working with the teacher to help the pupils access the curriculum;
- Implementing behaviour management tools;
- Assisting students who have SEMH;
- Supporting the students social and emotional development;
- Working with potential challenging behaviour and/ or complex needs;
- Helping to differentiate work.
Requirements:
- You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students;
- A passion for working with children with SEMH;
- Previous LSA experience is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire;
- Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous;
- Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
