Supply Chain Graduate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Supply Chain Graduate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for your own projects to further imporve their supply chain performance;
- Handle complaints, derive improvements and implement solutions to improve their supply chain quality matrix;
- Ensure the management of goods receipts incl. prioritization in order to avoid capacity constraints ;
- Actively assist the day-to-day business of the Logistics Manager;
- Work in Customer Service and Key Account Managements to meet the customer requirements and provide solutions for logistic issues ;
- In the two years of your development programme you will get to know their business and work in Logistics & Supply Chain ;
- Implement, monitor and expand Processes to balance on-time delivery and inventories;
- Work in a warehouse from goods receive, to put-away, storage, pick & pack to ship in close collaboration with their Lean teams;
- Rotate twice per year and will be at least in two countries ;
- Learn how to generate the preparation and communication of the rolling forecast (S&OP);
- Work at Manufacturing Plants, in Divisions, and in Customer Service.
Requirements:
- Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills ;
- First hand experience in project management is a plus ;
- A desire to gain international experience and openness to different cultures;
- Good team player with a challenger mentality ;
- Strong analytical thinking as well as problem solving skills and sense of costs awareness ;
- Process-driven, organised and disciplined ;
- Preferably first exposure to manufacturing facilities and processes ;
- Initiative, self-starter approach, and strong communications skills ;
- Ability to learn all aspects of a commercial business quickly.
