Responsibilities:
- General labouring duties;
- Cutting natural and engineered steel worksurfaces using saw machinery;
- Operating forklift;
- Cutting mytres and angle joints;
- Undertake the operation of machinery and hand power tools;
- Working from technical drawings;
- Clean & maintain machinery & tools The Person Key Requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience of working within a fast paced and demanding manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage;
- Ability to work towards tight deadlines and targets;
- Numerate and literate;
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
- Physically demanding role requiring lifting and handling of heavy equipment and steelwork;
- Good communication skills;
- Driving licence and own transport;
- Forklift licence;
- Flexible approach to workload and duties is essential;
- Previous experience of operating machinery and hand power tools.
