Product Engineering Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Product Engineering Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly of prototypes;
- Technical Progress Reports – maintain all teams’ progress tracking documents I,e KPI’s, Team daily progress digital progress tracker;
- Creating and maintaining 3D CAD models and 2D drawings;
- Undertaking additional task as and when required to support other areas of the business;
- Performing testing and calibration of production equipment / instruments;
- Performing product testing to defined test specifications and prepare test reports;
- Producing and maintaining Bills of Materials;
- Creating, updating and maintenance of product manuals, user instructions and production & repair instructions.
Requirements:
- Any education / qualifications in either Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Design or Electronics would be an advantage;
- High level of computer / IT literacy;
- Technically minded;
- Ability to maintaining accurate records;
- Experience, knowledge or exposure to design (using a CAD package such as solid works, solid edge or inventor).
