Telehandler Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Telehandler to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Driving the machine;
- Reporting to the Site Manager;
- Operating the machine in a safe manner;
- Unloading, loading and distributing materials around site;
- Ensure health & safety is upheld around the site;
- Be confident in high lifts and in tight spaces;
- When there is no forklift work, willing to help out on site;
- Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager and Site Supervisor;
- Operating a forklift on site and assisting with other trades;
- Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manger and Assistant Site Manager;
- Assisting with general labouring duties on site;
- Moving materials around the site;
- Assisting the site manager when not using the machine;
- Loading and unloading materials;
- Machine operating.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential;
- Be approachable and happy to work as point of contact when working in a stand alone position;
- Up to 2 years experience required to managing the Telehandler;
- Full PPE;
- Construction based work references;
- Valid CPCS card;
- Full PPE (hard-hat, boots, hi-vis);
- Proven experience on site;
- References required;
- BESC Certificate;
- CPCS;
- Previous experience managing a Telehandler,
- Cpcs / npors;
- Valid CPCS Card or NPORS;
- CSCS Card.
