Job title: Software Engineer
Salary: £120,000 per annum + Bonus & Benefits
Location: London (Hybrid / Flexible Working)
The Role
We’re supporting a rapidly growing, innovation-led tech company in London that’s building advanced AI-driven solutions with real-world impact. As they continue to scale, they’re looking to bring in a skilled Python Engineer to help develop and evolve their core platforms.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, values clean and efficient code, and wants to play a key role in shaping technology that sits at the forefront of data and intelligent systems.
Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and refine high-performance backend services using Python and modern frameworks such as FastAPI
Build and support systems designed to process and manage high volumes of live data
Produce well-structured, maintainable, and testable code aligned with engineering best practices
Influence system design and contribute to longer-term technical direction
Take full ownership of features and projects, working closely with a collaborative and agile team
Requirements
Strong commercial experience working with Python
Hands-on experience developing APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks (e.g. Flask or Django)
A strong focus on performance, scalability, and automation
Exposure to, or a genuine interest in, AI and data-driven technologies
A curious, solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to experiment and innovate
