On behalf of our esteemed client, a well-regarded secondary school in Portsmouth, we are seeking a highly qualified and inspiring Music Teacher to join their dedicated faculty. This full-time, permanent position commences in September and presents an exceptional opportunity for an individual who possesses a passion for music education and a commitment to fostering musical talent in young learners.
As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive music instruction to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play an integral role in nurturing students' musical abilities, encouraging creativity, and instilling a lifelong love of music.
Lead and direct school ensembles, such as choirs, bands, or orchestras.
Contribute to the school's extracurricular music program and support school performances and events.
Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Demonstrated experience teaching music at the secondary level.
A strong understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices.
