Job Overview

Ambassador International Academy Al Khail is seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic Secondary Science Teacher to join our expanding team from August 2027.

We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring young learners through inquiry-based learning and innovative teaching practices. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an engaging and challenging science curriculum while supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Science or a related subject, together with a recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE or equivalent).

Have a minimum of two years' teaching experience in a similar role.

Demonstrate a strong track record of outstanding classroom practice and student achievement.

Have experience teaching Science across the Middle School age range.

Experience with the IB (MYP/ DP) is preferred, although strong candidates from British, American or other international curricula are encouraged to apply.

Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Be confident in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Demonstrate an innovative and student-centered approach to education.
