The contemporary job market is in constant flux, requiring job seekers to have easy and efficient tools for discovering positions that align with their requirements and aspirations. Jooble is committed to streamlining this process by providing features such as Job Perks Indicators and Estimated Salaries.
The job card on the Jooble website used to look like this, featuring:
We began incorporating various tag categories, each distinct and easily identifiable at a glance. This initiative aimed to significantly enhance a job seeker’s ability to discern the specific benefits offered by individual vacancies.
Job benefit tags enable job seekers to focus solely on their areas of interest, streamlining the search process and making it more effective.
Typically, our emphasis is on working conditions and employment type — these being the primary considerations for blue-collar workers, who constitute the majority of our user base.
Currently job cards on the Jooble website contain such tags:
That is the reason why we incorporate diverse tag categories to spotlight various working conditions. These tags significantly augment job clicks, as they furnish job seekers with comprehensive insights into a vacancy and its offered benefits. The vivid and distinct tags enable swift navigation through job benefits, thus enhancing the search process efficiency.
The implementation of this new feature has yielded remarkable outcomes. Notably, client conversions have surged in the following areas:
Across all represented countries, there was an average increase of 7.8% in the number of job applications.
While these tags may appear insignificant at first glance, strategically incorporating them with appropriate logic significantly reduces job seekers’ time spent searching for their ideal position.

When a job seeker conducts a search query on Jooble, like “housekeeper,” we highlight this selection in green. These tags dynamically adjust based on the job seeker’s preferences, suggesting jobs more relevant to their search query.
This functionality has led to increased conversions in the UK (+2%) and France (+3.2%). Additionally, both countries have experienced notable growth in job applications, with France seeing a rise of +7.4% and the UK experiencing a substantial increase of +16%.

Let’s introduce you to a new feature that job seekers find valuable: estimated salaries.
Often, some job listings omit salary information, causing job seekers to overlook them. Recognizing this challenge, Jooble has developed a solution to encourage job seekers to explore these listings and expedite their search for their ideal job.
Leveraging our data, which includes information on available vacancies and indicated salaries for each profession, our Data Science team generates forecasts. These projected salaries are then added to job listings lacking salary information. An “Estimated” icon accompanies these listings, indicating to job seekers that it’s a forecast.
Currently, estimated salaries are available in France and the UK, where we’ve observed a significant increase in job applications (+31.5%).
Stay tuned as we may extend this feature to other countries in the future!
Jooble’s latest enhancements revolutionise the job search process, making it targeted, efficient, and rewarding.
Our vibrant, user-friendly tags spotlight crucial job aspects such as work schedules, employment types, and salary information, facilitating quicker discovery of ideal positions. Say goodbye to wasted time on irrelevant listings!
In France and the UK, we provide estimated salaries for vacancies lacking this information. Utilising historical data and advanced machine learning, this feature equips job seekers with realistic salary expectations, empowering them to make informed decisions.
These enhancements mark just the beginning of our commitment to innovation in job search. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
