A well established UK Logistis Grouo is seeking an experinced Senior Sales Executive to join its expanding commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven B2B sales professional who enjoys winning new business, building long term client relationships and working within a fast paced, commercially focused environment.
The company operates across UK and European road freight, supporting manufacturers, importers and exporters with tailored transport and logistics solutions. The Role
The Senior Sales Executive will focus on new business development and account growth within the UK and European freight market. The role involves proactive outreach, commercial negotiation and ongoing account management to maximise revenue opportunities.
Working closely with the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will help drive the company's continued growth through consistent prospecting, strong relationship building and effective conversion strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Prospecting & outreach including 75+ targeted new business calls per week
* Building client relationships with new and existing customers
* Negotiating rates with clients and suppliers
* Preparing quotations, handling objections and securing new business
* Explaining EU customs processes to support client shipments
* Managing active accounts and identifying growth opportunities
* Attending weekly sales meetings
* Supporting marketing activity including LinkedIn content, e shots and sales collateral Skills & Experience Required * Proven B2B sales experience
* Logistics or freight experience (advantageous but not essential)
* Experience selling to international markets (helpful but not essential)
* Strong telephone manner and rapport building ability
* Energetic, enthusiastic and commercially minded
* Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
* Negotiation skills and problem solving ability
* High attention to detail
