Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive drama lessons to primary and secondary students.
• Foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence in students through drama activities and performances.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement drama curricula that align with the school's goals and objectives.
• Assess and record student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for their development.
• Organize and oversee drama productions, showcases, and other extracurricular activities.

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and engagement in drama.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification and/or experience teaching drama to primary and/or secondary students.
• Thorough knowledge of drama techniques, theories, and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Enthusiasm for drama and the performing arts, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
