About Community Integrated Care
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We transform lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support that fosters independence and empowerment.
Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.
Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.
We have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships.
About You
Working closely with the Service Leader and the Support Worker team, you will be responsible for supporting a group of adults aged between 28 and 60 years.
- We have a variety of abilities, but we are very independent and keep busy every day.
- The team who support us are trained in Administration of Medication and Epilepsy Awareness, ensuring we receive safe and effective support when needed.
Our Shifts: 8am – 10pm for the day and 1 support staff on a waking night from 21.30pm – 08:30am. There are other flexible shifts depending on our busy schedules.
You’ll be supporting a group of adults to live their daily life in the way they want to live it. This means you will provide support in a wide variety of ways, including:
Supporting individuals with personal care and mobility
Helping people access the community and enjoy everyday activities
Medication admin
Preparing meals and drinks that meet a variety of dietary needs
Creating a clean, friendly, and safe home environment
Are you someone who’s kind, caring, and passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives
