Account Director

We are delighted to be assisting the Leeds office of a leading insurance broker as they look to add an experienced Account Executive to the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on an existing portfolio of clients, with a book made up by most classes of insurance and industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, grow & retain a book generating cGBP300,000 in income
• Manage a complex portfolio of clients and quickly understanding their specific needs and expectations
• Build long standing relationships with new and existing clients
• Made up by premiums ranging from GBP30,000 to GBP250,000
• Develop a sustainable pipeline of new business covering a wide range of commercial insurance products
• Drive quality, consistency and accuracy in all aspects of the role
• Use your excellent communication and client handling abilities to ensure an outstanding client experience at all times

Qualifications

• Proven track record in retaining business within the commercial insurance industry
• Ability to cover a large region, utilising your diary management skills to ensure you maximise your client reach
• A genuine interest in building long standing working relationships with clients – There will be a handover period
• Broad risk and product knowledge is essential
• Strong team working ability in order to forge strong working relationships within the business to meet defined goals and targets
• Experience with Acturis is desirable
• You will ideally be Cert CII, or qualified by level of experience
