As a SEND Support Assistant, you'll be helping children overcome barriers, celebrate achievements, and enjoy learning every single day. We're looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team this September, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in welcoming schools. What you'll be doing Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needsProviding one-to-one and small group support in and out of the classroomEncouraging positive behaviour, independence, and confidenceWorking closely with teachers and SEND professionals to help pupils reach their full potentialCreating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment We're looking for someone who has At least 2 years' experience supporting children or young people in an educational settingExperience working with children with SENDA patient, caring, and positive approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsA genuine passion for helping children succeed A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred, although we can support you with obtaining one if needed.
