We're looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team this September, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in welcoming schools.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
- Providing one-to-one and small group support in and out of the classroom
- Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
- Working closely with teachers and SEND professionals to help pupils reach their full potential
- Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
We're looking for someone who has
- At least 2 years' experience supporting children or young people in an educational setting
- Experience working with children with SEND
- A patient, caring, and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed
A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred , although we can support you with obtaining one if needed.
