We are currently recruiting a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time, long-term basis at a welcoming primary school in the Greater Manchester area
This role is for the full academic year and offers a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Year 4 within a supportive and inclusive school environment.
About the School -The school is a friendly and inclusive primary setting with a strong community ethos. Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils are supported academically, socially, and emotionally.
High expectations, positive behaviour, and a nurturing learning environment are central to the school’s approach.
Role Responsibilities As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
· Provide in-class support for Year 4 pupils
· Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and progress
· Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions
· Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those requiring additional support
· Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and assessment support
· Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
· Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
· Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other support staff Requirements
· Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
· Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
· Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
· Confidence working independently and delivering interventions
· Strong behaviour management and communication skills
· A caring, proactive, and professional approach
· Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Apply?
