We are working with a well-established charitable organisation in Leeds to recruit a Finance Officer to join a small, friendly and collaborative team. This is a varied hands-on role, ideal for an experienced finance professional looking for a part-time position with responsibility across both day-to-day finance and wider financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day finance including invoicing, supplier invoices and bank reconciliations .
Process supplier payments, ensuring appropriate approvals and controls.
Reconcile income and payments and maintain accurate financial records.
Support budget preparation, monitoring and variance analysis .
Maintain cash flow forecasts and monitor financial performance.
Prepare the finance section of quarterly Board reports .
Support scenario planning and financial analysis.
Contribute to process improvements and wider team activities.
Key Requirements
Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant, Accountant or similar role .
Strong knowledge of invoicing, reconciliations and payments .
Experience with budgeting, cash flow forecasting and financial reporting .
Strong Excel skills and accounting software experience; Xero advantageous .
Able to work independently, take ownership and communicate confidently with non-finance stakeholders.
Ideally an experienced finance professional seeking a stable, part-time role .
