HR Manager - Nottingham | Full-Time, Permanent

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30 (37 hours per week)

• Salary: £36,000–£42,000 per annum (indicative)

A school in Nottingham is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead its day-to-day HR activity and provide practical advice across the organisation.

This role would suit someone who can manage competing priorities, build positive working relationships and support managers through a range of people-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and staff changes.

• Advise on employee relations, attendance and performance.

• Support disciplinary, grievance and capability processes.

• Maintain HR records, policies and reporting.

• Coordinate training, appraisals and staff development.

• Ensure recruitment and employment processes meet safeguarding requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• HR management or senior HR advisory experience.

• Good knowledge of employment law and employee relations.

• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to manage confidential information and sensitive issues.

• School experience is desirable, but not essential.
