Income Maximisation Assistant
£31.79k - £35.33k per annumFull-time, Temporary
Hours: Part Time - 21 hours per week (job share), Monday - Wednesday shift pattern.
West of Scotland Housing Association (WSHA) are looking for a new part time Income Maximisation Assistant who shares our values and will use them to guide the way they work on a daily basis. This is a job share post with the working pattern being Monday - Wednesday.

- Providing admin support for Income Maximisation Team, answering phone calls on behalf of the IMT and deal with general enquiries.
- Monitoring former tenant arrears including cause of arrears. Following both the write-off procedure and the former tenant balances procedure and populate the write-off spreadsheet appropriately
- Maintaining close and effective working relationships with statutory and other agencies affecting Housing Benefit/Universal Credit and other rental income
- Process daily notifications from Finance in relation to Direct Debits returned or cancelled and send letter accordingly. Noting on CX and advising Income Max Officer.
- Completing verification tasks through the Universal Credit Landlord Portal and apply for Managed Payments to Landlord [MPTL] and arrears deductions, where appropriate.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a customer centered, flexible, confident approach
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication skills across phone, email and digital channels
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience working as part of a team
