Position Overview

As a Humanities Teacher, you will play a crucial role in cultivating students' intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills through the exploration of history, geography, and related disciplines. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's dynamic Humanities department and inspire a passion for learning in your students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging and informative Humanities lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, inquiry, and independent thinking.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in a Humanities subject, such as History, Geography, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary level.
• A passion for the Humanities and a commitment to fostering students' intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
