Project Manager

We're looking for a Project Manager for a public sector organisation based in Berkshire (hybrid) on an initial 18 months contract, paying up to £64 per hour (Inside IR35).

This is a hybrid role with an expectation to attend the office in Reading three days a week.

The successful Project Manager will deliver assigned projects to time, cost and quality, managing governance, reporting and project resources throughout. You'll lead planning, manage work against defined baselines, and drive risk and opportunity identification and the actions that follow. You'll also lead and support a local delivery team to meet operational objectives safely and securely.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

Delivering projects across the full lifecycle, from concept and design through procurement, contractual engagement, delivery and completion
Public sector project environments, including governance, stakeholder management, procurement processes and regulatory compliance
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM), including the duties of Principal Designers and Principal Contractors
Applying recognised project management methodologies in complex project environments

Experience supporting building refurbishment, renovation or upgrade projects, including coordinating works in occupied or operational environments, would be beneficial.

A recognised project management qualification (APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent) is required for this role.

You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC or DV clearance.
