If so, Academics Ltd would love to hear from you. We are looking for a compassionate and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join welcoming primary and secondary schools across Bristol.

In this role, you’ll be the vital link helping pupils overcome barriers to learning — empowering them to grow in confidence, thrive socially, and achieve their goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Providing tailored 1:1 support that meets the individual needs of pupils
* Encouraging pupils to actively take part in lessons and wider school life
* Implementing targeted strategies to help pupils make measurable progress
* Building strong, positive and trusting relationships with pupils
* Working hand-in-hand with class teachers and communicating with parents to celebrate success and track development

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience working with children or young people
* Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN
* An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Two recent professional references
