SENCo to lead a successful and well-resourced learning support department
Full-time leadership role | September start
Our client is seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking SENCo to join an established independent school in Bristol from September. The successful candidate will lead the strategic development of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provisions across the school. You will oversee individual learning plans, coordinate external multi-agency networks, manage access arrangements for formal examinations, and mentor teaching staff on adaptive teaching methodologies to ensure every student thrives.
The Learning Support department benefits from a dedicated inclusion hub, modern diagnostic tracking software, small class sizes, and a highly collaborative team of learning support assistants. Senior leadership is highly supportive and values pastoral expertise, innovation, and professional growth.
