Location: East Dulwich, South East London
Pay: £90-£110 per day
Hours: Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:00pm

The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ADHD and behavioural needs
- Build a consistent, positive relationship to support emotional regulation and engagement
- Implement behaviour strategies in line with the school's approach and individual support plans
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning and provide targeted support
- Encourage positive social interactions, independence and confidence throughout the school day
- Monitor progress and celebrate successes, both academically and personally
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a Teaching Assistant who has:
- At least 1 year's experience supporting children with SEN or additional behavioural needs
- Experience working with children with ADHD, challenging behaviour or social, emotional and mental health needs
- Previous experience in a primary school, tuition, youth work or another child-focused setting
- A calm, patient and resilient approach, with strong behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
