Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare laboratories and equipment for practical lessons.

• Set up experiments and demonstrations.

• Prepare chemicals, materials, and scientific resources safely.

• Maintain laboratory equipment and report faults.

• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.

• Clean and organise laboratories and preparation areas.

• Ensure materials are stored according to school procedures.

• Follow COSHH and health and safety requirements.

• Support teachers during practical lessons.

• Maintain accurate equipment and stock records.

Requirements:

• Previous laboratory or science-related experience is desirable.

• Good understanding of laboratory safety.

• Strong organisational skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to follow technical instructions.

• Practical and methodical approach.
