Due to a seasonal peak we are recruiting for Production Operatives to join a leading food manufacturing company in Retford – Jimmy’s Popcorn UK ! Must drive if you do not live locally.
Details:
- Monday to Friday working hours
- Overtime available
- Weekly pay
- Temp ongoing work
Duties of a Food Production Operative:
- Working on a production line packing popcorn
- Filling industrial kettles with corn and sugar
- Bagging popcorn to specific requirements
- Palletising and assisting in the warehouse when required
- General cleaning duties, including weekly machine clean downs
- Working at a fast pace
The ideal candidate:
- Must be happy to wear full PPE (hair net, long white jacket, safety boots)
- Must be happy working day and afternoon shifts on rotation
- Food production or factory experience is advantageous but not essential
- Must be reliable
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm (rotating)
- You must be happy to work both of the shift patterns on a rotational basis
Pay rate:
- £12.71 per hour with overtime paid after 37.5 hours
