Salary: £27,612 - £30,000 dependent on experience (pro rata)

Location: Hybrid working from Bolton Head Office

Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

As an IT Support Technician, you will manage, investigate and resolve service desk incidents, problems and requests across the business. You'll provide technical support, deliver effective solutions, escalate issues when required, and help maintain IT services across our UK offices.

This is a varied, fast-paced role offering excellent opportunities to develop your technical skills within a complex organisation. While previous experience is desirable, it's not essential—we provide full on-the-job training.

Initially, the role will focus primarily on telephone-based support, using remote management tools such as ConnectWise Automate.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a motivated problem-solver who enjoys helping colleagues, delivering excellent customer service, and developing their technical skills.

In return, we'll provide training in Active Directory, MDM, printers, telephony systems, file permissions and application configuration.

Essential

Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow processes and take ownership of issues
Well organised, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
Proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery
Ability to diagnose hardware, software and operating system issues
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Comfortable working with challenging customers and in a fast-paced environment
Professional, friendly and adaptable, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
Awareness of ITIL principles
Some experience troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft 365 or basic networking issues
Basic understanding of IT hardware and software
