What you will do:

* Attend all calls as directed by the call centre, ensuring timely and effective response.

* Conduct thorough clinical assessments for individuals in custody.

* Provide healthcare interventions for minor illnesses and injuries, referring serious cases when required.

* Perform forensic examinations, including injury documentation and DNA evidence collection.

* Assess and treat police officers or staff injured on duty.

* Collect specimens in accordance with legal requirements.

* Maintain compliance with PACE legislation Code C standards.

* Provide written statements and oral testimony in court when required.

* Maintain accurate and accessible clinical records.

* Assess alcohol and drug intoxication and withdrawal.

* Conduct mental health and learning disability assessments.

* Collaborate with clinical leadership to enhance service delivery.

* Maintain clinical competencies and adhere to forensic standards.

* Promote equality, diversity, dignity, respect, safeguarding, and information governance policies.

* Utilise the RADAR System effectively.

Person specification:

Essential:

* Registered Nurse (Adult) or Paramedic with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification (or 3 years depending on contract)

* NMC or HCPC registration with venepuncture skills

* Minimum of 3 years residency in the UK

* Experience in settings such as A&E, ITU, EAU, SAU, or as a Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse

* Valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes
