The Role
The HR Manager will lead the human resources function across the academy, providing professional advice, support, and guidance to the leadership team and staff. You will oversee recruitment, staff development, compliance, and HR policies to ensure smooth operational management and high staff engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing recruitment processes, including advertising, interviewing, and onboarding
• Overseeing HR administration, contracts, and payroll support
• Providing guidance on performance management, policies, and employment law
• Ensuring safeguarding and statutory compliance across HR functions
• Supporting staff wellbeing initiatives and professional development
Candidate Requirements
• Significant experience in HR management, ideally in education
• Strong knowledge of employment law, safer recruitment, and HR best practice
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Proactive, strategic thinker and problem-solver
• Legal right to work in the UK
