Provide tailored intervention and academic support for students with additional needs across the school day. You will work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping students build confidence, manage routines, stay focused in lessons, and access learning in a way that works for them. The Candidate:
You are calm, observant, and able to build trust through consistency and clear communication. You want practical school-based experience, you can stay patient in a busy setting, and you are interested in how focused support helps young people overcome barriers to learning and feel more secure in school. Requirements

You will work closely with teaching staff and wider professionals in a role that gives you direct exposure to day-to-day SEND provision, practical intervention, and the support strategies schools use to help students with additional needs access learning more successfully. - Degree – A 2:2 or above in Psychology or a related subject.
- Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Career Goals – A desire to pursue a career in educational or clinical psychology.
