Special Needs Teaching Assistant – SEMH Location: Surrey Start Date: Immediate Start Contract: Full-time, Long-term Salary: £90 – £125 per day, depending on experience Are you an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs? TeacherActive is proud to be recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant / SEND TA to work within a specialist SEMH school based in Surrey. The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, many of whom may also have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma-related needs and challenging behaviour. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils to engage with their learning, regulate their emotions and develop positive relationships within the school environment.
