Job Summary : The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for our client by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge, proven sales experience, and the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships to support organizational goals.

 

Responsibilities:


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis of potential target markets, competitors, and industry trends.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients and expand existing accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Act as the main point of contact for client negotiations, inquiries, and issue resolution.

  • Establish partnerships with telecom operators, vendors, and other stakeholders to create and leverage business opportunities.

  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to ensure business objectives and revenue targets are met.

  • Conduct market analysis and prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline progress, and forecasts for management.

  • Coordinate pricing and sales activities across departments to ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Oversee proposal development, contract negotiations, and client relationship management (CRM).

  • Review service delivery standards regularly to ensure KPIs are met and address any client-related issues proactively.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the business development team to ensure consistent high performance and motivation.

  • Identify training and development needs within the team and support continuous improvement.

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

 

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales and business development within the telecommunications industry in the UK .

  • In-depth understanding of telecommunications products, services, and technologies.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Strong entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Knowledge of fixed and mobile network technologies is a plus.

  • Familiarity with solution selling or consultative selling approaches.
