We're recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a school in Formby, L37 , starting 26th September 2026 .

The role

* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
* Help pupils overcome barriers to learning
* Support pupils academically, socially and emotionally
* Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team
* Encourage pupils to develop confidence and independence
* Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils

We're looking for someone who is

* Passionate about supporting children and young people
* Patient, approachable and resilient
* Confident communicating with pupils and staff
* Reliable and committed to a full-time school role
* Experienced in working with children, or a graduate looking to enter education
