Account Manager – Telecommunications

We're recruiting an Account Manager for a well-established, industry-leading business in the maritime sector. With over 100 years of expertise and a global reputation for excellence, this is a rare opportunity to join a company where your contribution will genuinely be felt and rewarded.
You'll be managing and growing a portfolio of strategic accounts while hunting for new opportunities across the UK and occasionally overseas. If you're a driven, consultative sales professional with a marine technology background and real commercial ambition, this could be exactly the right move.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and growing key accounts — shipyards, yacht management companies, and major maritime stakeholders.
- Hunting for new business and owning the full sales cycle from first contact to contract.
- Presenting commercial proposals up to board level.
- Working across Bridge Electronics, Navigation, Servicing, Maintenance, Support Contracts and Airtime solutions.
- Collaborating with internal technical, delivery and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Attending exhibitions, conferences and team meetings — and occasionally travelling overseas.
- Keeping the CRM accurate and your pipeline well managed.
What we're looking for
- Proven sales experience in the marine technology sector — specifically Bridge and Navigation.
- A hunter. Self-motivated, resilient and commercially driven.
- Strong relationship-building skills and confidence presenting at senior/board level.
- A disciplined approach to pipeline and CRM management.
- A creative, solutions-focused mindset — someone who challenges conventional thinking.
- Willingness to travel in the UK and occasionally overseas.
