Are you an experienced Accounts Manager - or a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up - looking to join a forward‑thinking, high‑performing practice? This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of a growing London firm that prides itself on hiring exceptional people and developing them into future leaders.

With one of the Associate Directors going on maternity leave, the firm is now seeking a confident, capable Manager to bridge the gap between Supervisors/Seniors/Semi‑Seniors and senior leadership, ensuring the smooth running of the Accounts function during an exciting period of expansion.

This role is perfect for someone who wants real influence, variety, and the chance to work closely with an Associate Director in a busy, ambitious, and sociable office.

The Accounts Manager Role

You'll play a pivotal part in strengthening the Accounts team, taking ownership of reviewing work, managing workflows, and supporting the Associate Director.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing work completed by the team across accounts and compliance
  • Workflow oversight, WIP management and billing
  • Timesheets, budgeting and deadline planning
  • Statutory accounts, CoSec and corporate tax review
  • Preparation and review of complex financial statements
  • Supporting a team of 9-10 in a fast‑moving environment
  • Helping guide and mentor developing Semi‑Seniors and Seniors
  • Working closely with leadership as the team introduces Karbon

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a full‑time, office‑based role although Managers, are allowed one WFH day a week.
